95 Setup Instructions
Configuring TCP/IP to work with
pkFamily
| On
your desktop double click My Computer, then
Control Panel and then Network.
Select
"TCP/IP" from the list box on the
"Network" window. Click
the "Properties"
button. |

IP Address Tab
Select "Obtain
an IP add automatically
Next
From the tabs at the
top of the window select the tab labeled
"DNS
Configuration" |

| Click:
Enable DNS
Host: Type in your
user name (e.g., Scott)
Domain: pkFamily.com
DNS Server Order:
207.205.94.194 Click "Add"
and number moves to the bottom box
DNS Server Order:
38.182.40.13 Click "Add"
and number moves to the bottom box
Domain Suffix:
pkFamily.com
Click "Add"
(do not click OK) |

Click
on tab called
"Gateway" - put a 0 (zero) in
each quad
Note:
"WINS Configuration,"
"Bindings" and "Advanced" Tabs
should not normally be disturbed.
Click "OK" |

| You
have returned to the Network setup menu
For "Primary
Network Logon" select "Client for
Microsoft Networks."
Click "OK"

Windows 95 will
want to reboot the computer. Select "Yes"
After
rebooting, if either Netscape or Microsoft Internet
Explorer is configured, double-click on the "My
Computer" icon, select "Dial-Up
Networking" and select the "pkFamily"
icon to connect.
If Your
browser is not yet configured, proceed to the Browser
Setup Page. |
